ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Our Commitment

Therapeutic Arts is committed to making www.therapeuticartsofrockland.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to learn about our services, contact us, and request care without barriers. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, speech, cognitive, or learning disabilities. We also strive to follow the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.

What We Do

We design pages to work with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and voice control; provide text descriptions for meaningful images; use clear headings, readable fonts, and sufficient color contrast; make forms usable with labels and clear error messages; and review the site periodically to address issues we find.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Older PDF forms may not work well with all screen readers. Some features are provided by outside companies, such as online scheduling, the patient portal, telehealth, and payment tools, and we do not control their accessibility. If you have trouble with any of these, please contact us and we will help you another way.

Other Ways to Reach Us

If any part of this website is hard for you to use, we will provide the information or service another way at no cost to you. We can read information to you over the phone, send documents and forms in large print or an accessible electronic format, and help you schedule an appointment or complete intake forms by phone. We also provide free auxiliary aids and services to patients with disabilities, and free language assistance for people whose primary language is not English. Please let us know what you need when you call.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback. If you find an accessibility barrier, please tell us the page address and the problem you had. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
